What time are the dive trips?
Snorkel and dive trips depart every day at 8:30AM and 1:00PM.
Do I need scuba certification to dive in Key West?
Yes, certification is required for most dive trips. However, if you’re new to scuba diving, many operators, including Capt. Hook’s, offer Discover Scuba programs that let you dive under the supervision of an instructor.
What is the best time of year to scuba dive in Key West?
Scuba diving is great year-round, but the calmest conditions and clearest visibility are typically from November to May. Water temperatures remain warm, averaging 75-85°F throughout the year.
Do I need any dive gear?
We offer equipment for rent for your dive trip, or you’re welcome to use your own gear.
Is diving at Key West Safe?
Absolutely! You’ll be accompanied on the trip by one of our captains and a mate. Both are certified in CPR should anything happen.
